Structural Insights into New Bi(III) Coordination Polymers with Pyridine-2,3-Dicarboxylic Acid: Photoluminescence Properties and Anti-Helicobacter pylori Activity
PublicationTwo novel coordination polymers, [Bi2(2,3pydc)2(2,3pydcH)2(H2O)]n(1) and {(Et3NH)2[Bi(2,3pydc)(2,3pydcH)Cl2]}n(2) were prepared using as a prolinker pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid(2,3pydcH2). The obtained complexes were fully characterized by elemental analysis, TG/DTG, FT-IR,solid-state photoluminescence, DFT calculations and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Chromogenic amides of pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid as anion receptors
PublicationThe synthesis of simple, chromogenic pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid amides, derivates of isomeric nitroanilines and aminonitrophenols, and their ion binding properties are described. The ligands' response to ionic species was examined by naked eye and was studied with the use of UV-Vis spectroscopy in DMSO and its mixture with water. The first manganese trialkoxysilanethiolates: formation, properties and structure of solvent ligated complexes - [Mn{SSi(OBut)3}2(MeCN)] and [Mn{SSi(OBut)3}2(MeOH)4]
PublicationW pracy przedstawiono otrzymywanie i strukturę pierwszych trialkoksysilanotiolanowych kompleksów manganu(II). Syntezy prowadzone były reakcji 2≡SiSH+ MnCl2 + 2Et3N = (≡SiS)2Mn + 2Et3N.HCl doprowadziły do otrzymania nowych kompleksów: [Mn{SSi(OBut)3}2(MeOH)4] (gdy jako rozpuszczalnik zastosowano MeOH) oraz [Mn{SSi(OBut)3}2(NCCH3)], gdy w badaniach posłużono się acetonitrylem.

PublicationStwierdzono, że 3'-hydroksy-4,4'-dimetoksy-3'-metylo-3-okso-7,7'-bis(piperydynokarbonyloksy)-2,2'-spirobi[2H,2'H,3H,3'H-benzo[b]tiofen] występuje w roztworach postaci mieszaniny dwóch diastereoizomerów pozostających w dynamicznej równowadze. Mechanizm tej równowagi oparty jest na odwracalnym otwarciu pierścienia z 1,5 przeniesieniem protonu i utworzeniu przjściowej formy 3-hydroksybenzotiofenu.

Dissociation of 2-oxopropanoic acid by low energy electrons
PublicationElectron attachment to molecular target can lead to a variety of negative fragment ions. We experimentally probe the main dissociative electron attachment (DEA) channels in 2-oxopropanoic acid (CH3 - CO - COOH) - an important trace component in the Earth's atmosphere. In our studies we utilise nearly mono-energetic electrons at electron energies from 0 eV up to 15 eV.
