  Mycobacterium ulcerans jest bakterią wywołującą choroby skóry u ludzi i zwierząt. W trakcie prowadzonych badań opracowano prostą w wykonaniu metodę ekstrakcji DNA Mycobacterium ulcerans z próbek środowiskowych oraz klinicznych. Opracowana metoda izolacji DNA może być przydatna w badaniu źródeł infekcji oraz dróg szerzenia się Mycobacterium ulcerans.

Wykorzystanie systemu PIV umożliwiło analizę skomplikowanej struktury przepływu cieczy podczas wrzenia, a także wzajemnego oddziaływania pomiędzy sekcją grzejną a wrzącą cieczą.

  The goal of the present work was the experimental determination of the contact angle of three nanofluids, i.e. water-Al2O3, water-Cu and water-TiO2 on horizontal stainless steel tube of 1.6 mm OD. Of particular interest was the effect of nanoparticle concentration (0.01%, 0.1%, and 1% by weight) on droplet contact angle.
