Crystal structure and physical properties of NpRh2Sn, a new Np-based ternary compound
PublikacjaPoprzez syntezę w piecu łukowym został otrzymany nowy związek o stechiometrii NpRh2Sn. NpRh2Sn krystalizuje w strukturze ortorombowej i wykazuje przejście PM-AFM w temperaturze Neela T_N = 34K.

Synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of neutral Ni(II) tri-tert-butoxysilanethiolate cluster
PublikacjaNowy klaster niklu(II) [Ni6(μ-O)6{SSi(tBuO)3}6(H2O)6(NH3)4] został otrzymany w reakcji NiCl2·6H2O z tri-tert-butoksysilanotiolu i amoniakiem w roztworze wodnym. Pomiary właściwości magnetycznych badanego związku pokazują obecność silnych antyferromagnetycznych oddziaływań pomiędzy centrami metalicznymi.

Ce site dilution effects in the antiferromagnetic heavy fermion CeIn3
PublikacjaLa-doped intermetallic single crystals of Ce1−xLaxIn3 were synthesized via an In self-flux method throughout the entire range (x = 0–1). The prototypical heavy-fermion compound CeIn3 shows an antiferromagnetic phase transition at 10.1 K and becomes superconducting near a critical pressure where TN is completely suppressed. As the La concentration increases, Ce moments are diluted, and the lattice constant increases linearly, satisfying Vegard’s...

Fe3–xInSnxO6 (x = 0, 0.25, or 0.5): A Family of Corundum Derivatives with Sn-Induced Polarization and Above Room Temperature Antiferromagnetic Ordering
PublikacjaThree new double corundum derivative compounds, Fe3−xInSnxO6 (x = 0. 0.25, or 0.5), were synthesized at high pressure and temperature (6 GPa and 1400− 1450 °C). All of the compounds order antiferromagnetically well above room temperature (TN = 608, 532, and 432 K for x = 0, 0.25, and 0.5, respectively). The x = 0 phase crystallizes as centrosymmetric R3̅c, but the inclusion of closed-shell d10 Sn4+ induces x = 0.25 and 0.5 to crystallize...
