    Wykonano obliczenia kwantowo-chemiczne metodą DFT dla tri-tert-butoksysilanotiolu oraz jego protonowanych i deprotonowanych form, zarówno na atomie tlenu jak i siarki. Przeanalizowano bilans energetyczny dla protonowania anionu w próżni i w fazie wodnej (stosując model IPCM). Zaobserwowano skrócenie wiązania Si-S w wyniku protonowania na atomie tlenu.
