I once had the pleasure of taking part in production of an amazing recording: piano sonatas no 2 by Rachmaninov, no 7 by Prokofiev, and unknown to a wider audience masterpiece of Polish modern music - te piano sonata of Kazimierz Serocki. The concept of the record was to present the latter at the backgound of the two former, to stress the caliber of Serocki's work. Bogdan Czapiewski's performance was just stunning.
