Video traffic data - Interchanges Podwarpie (S1-86) - Entry + exit lanes, Poland

Description

The data includes video traffic data registered with 4 video cameras on entry or exit lanes of the Podwarpie interchange within S1 expressway  in Poland (interchange of expressway  S1 and national road 86), located in the Silesian Agglomeration). The data covers the one day: 23.05.2017 (expressway  S1).

The video cameras installed on the roads S1  (2 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the entry or exit section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts.

Collected data include:

  • Expressway S1 entry lane, direction NS: 6:00 – 12:00, location: main road, min 854 veh/h, max 1076 veh/h, PHV: 24.2 - 34.0% (point no.1001).
  • Expressway S1 exit lane, direction EN: 10:00 – 20:00, location: main road, min 721 veh/h, max 1241 veh/h, PHV:  22.2 - 31.4% (point no.1002).

This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways
