Celem pracy była ocena stopnia zanieczyszczenia wód podziemnych pobranych wokół składowiska odpadów komunalnych. Zastosowano zintegrowane podejście polegajace na jednoczesnym wykorzystaniu badań chemicznych i biotestów. Najbardziej zanieczyszczone próbki okazały się również najbardziej toksyczne wobec badanych organizmów wskaźnikowych.
