    Zweryfikowano wpływ palenia kobiet na poziom cytokin (IL-1α, IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10 i TNF-α) w mleku ludzkim w 30-32 dni po porodzie. Badana grupa składała się z 24 kobiet po porodzie, które deklarowały palenie więcej niż pięciu papierosów dziennie. Grupę kontrolną stanowiło 45 niepalących kobiet.
