PublicationTri(mezytyloksy)silanotiol (TMST) wyizolowano jako jedyny produkt reakcji pomiędzy disiarczkiem krzemu a 2,4,6-trimetylofenolem. TMSTkrystalizuje w układzie trójskośnym. Dobra jakość kryształów pozwoliła na udokładnienie grupy SH bez narzuconych więzów. Długość wiązania S-H określono na 1,29(4) ang., a kąt Si-S-H na 95,4(17) deg. Cząsteczki TMST nie tworzą wiązań wodorowych w kryształach.

PublicationChlorek benzylu reaguje z silanotiolanami sodu R3SiSNa dając wyłącznie pochodne sililowe kwasu monotiobenzoesowego R3SiOC(S)Ph, R=t-Bu, Ph lub 2,6-XyO w postaci pomarańczowych kryształów. Wymienione produkty zostały poddane rentgenowskiej analizie strukturalnej. Badania NMR roztworów tych substancji wskazują, że te same izomery są obecne w roztworze i w ciele stałym.

PublicationtBu2P-PLi-P(tBu)2*2THF reaguje z [(Et3P)2MCl2] (M = Ni, Pd) dając odpowiednio [(1,2-h-tBu2P=P-P(tBu)2)Ni(PEt3)Cl] i [(1,2-h-tBu2P=P-P(tBu)2)Pd(PEt3)Cl]. Związek tBu2P-PLi-P(tBu)2 utlenia się i ligand tBu2P-P-P(tBu)2 przyjmuje w produktach strukturę bocznie związanego kationu z krótkim wiązaniem P-P. Reakcja ze związkami platyny nie dała oczekiwanych produktów.

Synthesis and structure of Dicyclohexylammonium Tri-tert-pentoxysilanethiolate and 5-aminopentylammonium Tri-tert-pentoxysilanethiolate
PublicationTri-tert-pentoksysilanotiol reaguje z dicykloheksyloaminą i 1,5-diaminopentanem dając odpowiednie sole amoniowe. Sole te scharakteryzowano poprzez analizę elementarną, widma IR i NMR oraz metodą rentgenowskiej analizy strukturalnej. Są to pierwsze pochodne tri-tert-pentoksysilanotiolu, dla których wyznaczono strukturę krystaliczną.
