Factors influencing the selection of the ideal employer

Description

This dataset contains the results of research that were carried out by the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in March and April 2016, using an anonymous "on-line" questionnaire. 1,320 people took part in the study entitled "My ideal employer" - students and doctoral students of all faculties of the university (including those fields of study not strictly defined as technical, such as economics or management). The dominant group of surveyed students were full-time studies - 97% of people. Moreover, 43% of the participants were women and 57% were men. Non-wage benefits and the social package are not a significant criterion, in the case of describing the ideal employer, only - 11.2% of responses were obtained. Moreover, general working conditions, which include the form of employment, working hours and flexibility, were chosen by every fifth person. Therefore, it can be concluded that for people starting their professional career, the need to obtain additional benefits as part of employment is not the most important criterion, and the possibility of employment in a job in accordance with the field of study and the offered base salary are the most important in forming an opinion about an ideal employer.
