Video traffic data - Interchange Piotrkow Trybunalski East (S8-12), weaving, Poland

Description

The data includes video traffic data registered with 2 video cameras at weaving area (weaving section type A) of the Piotrkow Trybunalski East interchange within S8 expressway  in Poland (interchange of expressway  S8 and national road 12), located in the Piotrkow Trybunalski area. The data covers the one day: 21.06.2017. (expressway  S8).

The video cameras installed on the roads S8  (2 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the weaving section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts

Collected data include:

  • Expressway S8 exit lane, direction EW: 7:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 939 veh/h, max 1188 veh/h, PHV: 32.1 - 40.1% (point no.1701).

This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways
