Description
The data includes video traffic data registered with 8 video cameras at weaving area (weaving section type A) of the Sulno interchange within S1 expressway in Poland (interchange of expressway S1 and national road 94), located in the Silesian Agglomeration. The data covers the two days: 12.09.2017 (expressway S1) and 13.09.2017 (road 94).
The video cameras installed on the roads S1 and 94 (2 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the weaving section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts
Collected data include:
- Expressway S1 weaving, direction NS: 9:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 1164 veh/h, max 1651 veh/h, PHV: 17.5 - 32.9% (point no.1101).
- Expressway S1 weaving, direction SN 8:00 – 18:00, location: main road, min 1344 veh/h, max 1934 veh/h, PHV: 13.8 - 23.4% (point no.1102).
- National road 94 weaving, direction NS: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 1203 veh/h, max 1671 veh/h, PHV: 11.2 - 24.5% (point no.1103).
- National road 94 weaving, direction WE: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 1228 veh/h, max 1803 veh/h, PHV: 7.6- 26.3 % (point no.1104).
This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
