Description
The data includes video traffic data registered with 8 video cameras at weaving area (weaving section type A) of the Zakrzewo interchange within S11 expressway in Poland (interchange of expressway S11 and regional road 307), located in the Poznan Agglomeration. The data covers the two days: 20.09.2017 (expressway S11) and 21.09.2017 (road 307).
S11 is a major road in Poland (cross section 2x2) which has been planned to run from Kolobrzeg (Baltic sea) through Koszalin, Pozannm Katowice. Total distance of about 550 km.
The video cameras installed on the roads S11 and 307 (2 cameras) registered vehicles along the entire length of the weaving section. Cameras were mounted on 5-7 meter high masts
Collected data include:
- experss-road S11 weaving, direction NS: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 957 veh/h, max 2025 veh /h, PHV: 15.8 - 39.4% (point no. 2001).
- experss-road S11 , direction SN: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 955 veh /h, max 1739 veh /h, PHV: 16.2 - 31.3% (point no.2002).
- Regional road 307 weaving, direction EW: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 652 veh /h, max 1051 veh /h, PHV: 6.5 - 21.4% (point no.2003).
- Regional road 307 weaving, direction WE: 8:00 – 19:00, location: main road, min 606 veh /h, max 1019 veh /h, PHV: 8.6 - 18.9% (point no. 2004).
This study is part of MOP-DZ research project: RID2B - Modern methods of calculating the road capacity and assessment of traffic conditions of roads outside municipal agglomerations, including expressway roads, financed by the National Centre for Research and Development (Poland) and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways.
