An unmanned water surface-air-based platform using the wing-in-ground effect for support of the special armed forces at sea area.

The aim of the project is to develop a demonstrator of an unmanned surface and airborne surface platform supporting the operations of Special Forces in sea areas with technological readiness level VI. From a functional point of view, the platform is intended to quickly support the operations of Special Forces in sea areas, including the transfer of supplies. Ultimately, the platform will be able to perform reconnaissance, combat and evacuation functions (PGT IX). The demonstrator will be a high-speed surface, air-surface platform, taking off from the water, moving just above the surface at a height of up to 3 m and landing on the water. The maximum speed of the demonstrator was set to 100 km/h, maximum weight to 250 kg and the load capacity to 20% of the vehicle weight. Research and construction of demonstrator will be carried out with the use of advanced research, design and execution methods. The demonstrator will be equipped with a control, navigation and communication system. The project has a great value for development of science and research conducted at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology and it is particularly important regarding the development of advanced technologies and preparations for implemetations in reality.
