  • TG-hydroxyl groups in TiO2-P25

    Open Research Data
    open access

TG analyses were performed for powdered TiO2 - commercial P25 sample, which was heat-treated from room temperature to 500 C in the nitrogen atmosphere. Mass loss at lower temperature such as 120 C was related to the physisorbed water, and that one occurring at 500 C to the chemisorbed hydroxyl groups.

  • TiO2-TG analyses -OH groups

    Open Research Data
    open access

TG analyses of TiO2 were performed under nitrogen flow to monitor desorption of hydroxyl groups. Physisorbed weak-bonded hydroxyl groups were desorbed totally at around 120oC, whereas chemisorbed ones at around 500oC. The mass loss at these temperatures was used as concentration of hydroxyl groups on TiO2 surface. The amount of analysed TiO2 was 10...

  • Valorisation of bioplastics synthesised by liquefaction of celluloseusing hetero- and homogeneous catalysts

    Open Research Data
    open access

The purpose of the present study was to test the effectiveness of a heterogeneous catalyst such as Nafion ion-exchange resin on the cellulose liquefaction process. The results obtained were compared with the bio-polyols obtained in a conventional way, using a homogeneous catalyst (sulfuric acid (VI)). Depending on the catalyst used and the temperature...

  • Bio based PUR-PIR foams thermal degradation (TG) and isoconversional kinetics

    Open Research Data

In the present work, we perform a thorough thermogravimetric (TG) analysis of the bio-based polyurethane – polyisocyanurate (PUR-PIR) foams in both nitrogen and oxygen atmosphere. A sustainable element of the foam was a biopolyol obtained via acid-catalyzed liquefaction of Zostera Marina and Enteromorpha Algae biomass. Based on isoconversional analysis...

  • XPS-TiO2 heated in H2

    Open Research Data
    open access

These XPS spectra were recorded for TiO2 heat-treated at 450-600oC in H2. Surface oxygen groups were determined. Deconvolution of Ti 2p peak allowed to determine Ti3+ on the titania surface.
