Application of sol-gel-developed integrated optic devices to biochemical fiber optic sensors based on polarimetric interferometry.
PublicationW pracy omówiono zasady działania sensorów optycznych wykonanych w technologii optyki zintegrowanej i wykorzystujących interferometrię polaryzacyjną. Zaproponowano konstrukcję jednorazowego przetwornika pomiarowego, wykonanego w technologii sol-żel z materiałów hybrydowych, która umożliwia wykorzystanie nieodwracalnych reakcji chemicznych do pomiarów w medycynie, chemii i ochronie środowiska. Omówiono technologię syntezy materiałów...

Green capsule phase microextraction employing hydrophobic monolithic sol-gel octadecyl siloxane platforms for the monitoring of organophosphorus pesticides in environmental water samples
PublicationIn this study, a novel, facile and green capsule phase microextraction (CPME) method is presented for the extraction and preconcentration of organophosphorus pesticides (i.e., chlorpyrifos, disulfoton, ethoprophos, fenchlorphos, prothiofos, and parathion-methyl) from environmental water samples. Monolithic sol-gel octadecyl siloxane (sol-gel C18) sorbent encapsulated within porous polypropylene capsules was synthesized, characterized,...

Morphology of the sol-gel derived LTO:Cu films
Open Research DataMorphology of the lithium titanate doped by Cu thin films were investigated by SEM microscope. Films were deposited by spin-coater from sol-gel derived sol. SEM images showed a high porous structure, tipaciall for sol-gel based films. For measurements samples with a various content of Cu were selected.

Sol-gel derived TeO2:RE powders
Open Research DataTellurium dioxide powders doped by Europium or Dysprosium were prepared by sol-gel method. Samples were annealed in ix of Ar and O2 atomosphere at 600 degrees. Presence of rare earth dopants and Te4+ phase was confirmed by X-Ray Photoemission Spectroscopy method (XPS). For XPS measurements samples with 1 atomic % and 5 atomic % of dopand were selected.

Optical measurements of LTO:Cu sol-gel derived thin films
Open Research DataLithium titanate doped by copper thin films were manufactured by chemical, sol-gel method. Flms were deposited on a Corning glass substrated by spin coater. To calculated optical band gap and other optcal parameters, UV-VIS spectroscopy measurements were performed. For measurements selected samples with various content of Cu.

Raman spectroscopy analysis of synthesized sol-gel silica coatings
Open Research DataThese data contains Raman spectra of silica coatings synthesized using sol-gel method A and B, which were described with publication associated with this dataset. Raman scattering was measured with a Renishaw microRaman spectrometer (830 nm).

Optical measurements of lithium titanate sol-gel derived thin films
Open Research DataNanocrystalline thin films with 800 nm thickness were prepared by sol–gel method. To examine the influence of the annealing time on as-prepared films crystallization, the coatings were heated at 550 °C for 10, 20 and 80 h. On the basis of transmission characteristic optical properties were calculated. It was found that transmission through the thin...

Sol-gel derived lithium titanate powders measured by XPS method
Open Research DataFor sol-gel synthesis lithium acetate dehydrate from Alfa Aesar GmbH &Co and titanium (IV) butoxide 97% from Aldrich were used as reagents. Copper (II) nitrate from Alfa Aesar was used as a source of Cu dopant. It was added in the proper weight to get an x index equal 0, 0.1 and 0.2. In the first step lithium acetate and copper nitrate were dissolved...

Spectroscopic studies of a ring opening process between epoxy- and aminosilanes and imine formation reactions in aqueous solutions
PublicationNMR and Raman spectroscopy studies were performed for different 3-aminopropyl(trimethoxy)- and 3-glycidoxypropyl (trimethoxy)silane based sol-gel systems containing different ketones. Exceptionally stable imine products were obtained depending on a reaction system at alkaline pH conditions and in the presence of water. These imine formation reactions were carried out without further catalyst. In addition, effect of water for the...

A Chemical Recognition Element for Lithium Ions Based on Optical Electronic Absorption.
PublicationOtrzymano próbki kserożeli techniką zol-żel. Otrzymane materiały zastosowano do konstrukcji czujników optycznych. Rolę elementu rozpoznającego w uzyskanych próbkach pełnią chromogeniczne etery koronowe zawierające w makro pierścieniu dwie grupy azowe oraz resztę fenolu. W obecności soli metali I grupy układ u okresowego obserwowano zmiany w widmach absorpcyjnych. Dla matrycy zawierającej jako materiał czujnikowy 21-członową...

Evaluation of structural change during fast transformation process of cross-linked NR into liquid NR by light pyrolysis
PublicationThe presence of cross-linked networks in rubber creates a tremendous problem for recycling and reusing of waste rubber. Fast transformation of cross-linked natural rubber (NR) into liquid natural rubber was carried out by light pyrolysis in temperature range from 240 to 300 °C in variable time (in range: 1–30 min). The transformation efficiency was evaluated by measuring the sol fraction and the cross-link density of the gel fraction....
