I'm Rengel, born and raised in the Philippines. 

I joined the Gdansk University of Technology in October 2019 as a Maria Skłodowska-Curie early-stage researcher. Calculating the Photophysics of molecular logic sensors for the early detection of atherosclerosis - a precursor to the world's leading causes of death. 

I'm a professional bass player. I play music to relieve stress and express creativity. I also like reading fantasy novels and reading about Nobel laureates and advances in Science and Technology. I am a foodie as well.  :)
