Luminescent collisions of He+ and He++ ions with H2 molecules at energies below 2 keV
PublicationSpectroscopic studies of collisions between He+ and He++ ions with H2 gas target have been performed in the 200–600nm wavelength range. Atomic lines of hydrogen Balmer series and several helium lines were identified and their excitation functions between 50 eV and 1keV (2keV for He++) were determined.

Luminescence properties of Eu3+ and Tb3+ doped silica-based xerogels
PublicationPure SiO2 xerogels and SiO2 xerogels containing SrF2: Eu3+/: Tb3+ crystals were prepared using sol-gel method. Luminescent spectra showed excitation and emission peaks characteristic to Eu3+ and Tb3+ 4f - 4f transitions. ET Tb3+→Eu3+ has been observed. Luminance Distribution Measurements in CAVE-Type Virtual Reality Systems
PublicationIn this article, the immerse 3D visualization lab just opened at the Gdańsk University of Technology is presented. The effect of user “immersion,” it such virtual reality systems, is largely dependent on the optical properties of projected images.
