AN INTELLIGENT SYSTEM TO SUPPORT THE DESIGN PROCESS OF HYBRID PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATIONS

Abstract

The paper presents the final version of intelligent system to support the design process of hybrid photovoltaic systems supported by fuel cells and / or thermoelectric generators developed and constructed at the Institute of Electron Technology, as well as to conduct experiments and research. A block diagram of the system and the selection of its components is described and discussed. The paper considers the availability of the system via Ethernet or GSM that allows remote conduct of work wherever there is access to the Internet. The use of components, most of which is equipped with RS-232 interface, allowing full monitoring of the system and remotely change their settings is discussed. A set of system equipment simulators photovoltaic modules making it independent from the weather and precision digital multimeter 6 ½ digits, equipped with a 40-channel scanner allows good long-term data collection system operation and ensure their partial storage has also been discussed. The program management system written in Delphi and dedicated PC running Windows XP and later is described. The system offers the ability to share it functionality with external users.
