Abstract
Combustion in cement mills as a form of energy recovery from tiressummary: the subject of used tires is an important issue in poland. in this article, special focus is aimed atmaterial recycling, i.e. tire burning. even though this is not the most energetically effective method, it is one ofthe main techniques used in tire utilization. tires are burned as alternative fuel in already existing cement mills.the high calorific value of tires as well as raw material conservation, of coal, among others, justifies their use.
