  W pracy omówiono najczęściej stosowane metody dezodoryzacji powietrza, zwracając uwagę na zróżnicowane właściwości chemiczne różnych grup związków zapachowych. Omówiono techniki biofiltracyjne, wskazując aktualne trendy rozwojowe. Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących jednoczesnego usuwania (a)-pinenu i cykloheksanu, uzyskując wartości stopnia usunięcia wymienionych związków powyżej 80%.

  Prezentowane badania pokazały, że soki z kapusty wykazują bardzo silne właściwości przeciwutleniające. Najaktywniejszy był sok ze świeżej kapusty, który eliminował działanie użytych mutagenów w ponad 80%. Obróbka kulinarna nieco obniżała przeciwmutagenne właściwości pozostałych soków, ale i tak wykazywały one silne działanie ochronne.
