PublicationW pracy przedstawiono korzyści płynące z zastępowania tradycyjnych stopów łożyskowych przez warstwy ślizgowe wykonane z kompozytów na bazie PTFE. Kompozytowe warstwy ślizgowe są coraz częściej stosowane w dużych łożyskach hydrogeneratorów o pionowych wałach.
