Thermographic imaging of electrochemical double layer capacitors during cycling charging - discharging 0 - 2,7 V at 102 mA. Sample 51, run #3.
Open Research DataDataset contains thermal images of prototype electrochemical double layer capacitor taken during cyclic charging - discharging. The sample was charged to 2,7 V and discharged to 10 mV by constant current 102 mA. Experiment run #3. This experiment was preceded by experiment 10.34808/m9mn-yy02. The images were taken with thermographic camera VigoCAM V50....

Optimization of vortex-assisted hydrophobic magnetic deep eutectic solvent-based dispersive liquid phase microextraction for quantification of niclosamide in real samples
PublicationIn this manuscript, a green and fast vortex-assisted hydrophobic magnetic deep eutectic solvent-based dispersive liquid phase microextraction (VA-HMDES-DLPME) method was developed for the selective extraction and determination of niclosamide in read samples, including rice, medicine tablets, and water samples. Here, hydrophobic magnetic deep eutectic solvents were used as the extracting solvent without requiring any centrifugation...

Isolation and some properties of collagen from the backbone of Baltic cod(Gadus morhua)
PublicationOssein from Baltic cod backbone was obtained after extraction of non-collagenous protein with 0.1 M NaOH solution and demineralization with 1.0 M HCl solution. The extractions were performed at 4 C for24, 48 and 72 h using a solid/solution ratio from 1:4 to 1:8 (w/v). After 48 h of extraction in 0.5 M acetic acid only about 25% of collagen was dissolved. After 48 h of extraction at optimal concentration of pepsin(4 mg/g ossein)...

New procedure for the examination of the degradation of volatile organonitrogen compounds during the treatment of industrial effluents
PublicationWe present a new procedure for the determination of 32 volatile organonitrogen compounds in samples of industrial effluents with a complex matrix. The procedure, based on dispersive liquid–liquid microex-traction followed by gas chromatography with nitrogen-phosphorus and mass spectrometric detection, wasoptimized and validated. Optimization of the extraction included the type of extraction and disperser sol-vent, disperser solvent...

Organic and conventional kiwifruit, myths versus reality: antioxidant, antiproliferative and helth effects
PublicationComparison between organic and conventional kiwifruit cultivars 'Hayward' and 'Bidan', which was done by four radical scavenging assays, ESI-MS, and DSC measurements, showed significant differences between the cultivars. Such results were not estimated in kiwifruit growing under organic and conventional conditions. The extraction of bioactive compounds was done by two different methods: sequential extraction with ethyl acetate...

CAD Introduction (2023/24)
e-Learning CoursesThe course aim is to demonstrate the application of Computer Aided Design in preparation of architectural drawings and project presentations. No previous CAD experience is necessary. Using hands-on exercises, students explore how to create project presentations using 2D drawings and 3D models created in AutoDesk AutoCAD and other programs.
