Charakterystyka i ocena możliwości oczyszczania zaolejonych ścieków pożarniczych
PublicationPrzedstawiono wyniki badań ścieków powstałych podczas gaszenia pożaru 20000m3 zbiornika z benzyną. Większą część zanieczyszczeń w ściekach stanowiły zawiesiny trudno opadające i koloidalne - odpowiednio 40% i 30% ładunku ChZT. Pozostałe po koagulacji zanieczyszczenia rozpuszczone poddano utlenieniu z wykorzystaniem reakcji Fentona uzyskując dalszą redukcję ChZT do 95%.

Badania osadu czynnego jako sorbentu oleju.
PublicationPrzeprowadzono badania właściwości sorpcyjnych wysuszonego osadu czynnego względem ciekłych węglowodorów. Zastosowano dwie techniki eksperymentalne:metodę wzniesienia kapilarnego i dynamiczną sorpcję oleju z dyspersji typu olej w wodzie. Sorbent uzyskany z osadu flokulowanego za pomocą polimeru organicznego był lepiej zwilżany niż sorbent otrzymany z osadu zagęszczanego bez dodatków chemicznych.
