Opis

This is the histopathological image of COLON tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Classification code: Chapter II - Neoplasms

Diagnosis: Ascending colon

Result of the histopathological examination: Tubular adenocarcinoma within a highly differentiated tubular adenoma (G1) infiltrating the submucosa of the large intestine and its peduncle (Haggitt 3). No vascular or nervous invasion. The tumour was removed completely.
