Opis

This is the histopathological image of HEART, MEDIASTINUM, AND PLEURA tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Scattered lymphocytic infiltrates, early ischemic changes - increased eosinophilicity of cardiomyocytes, waviness, focal fragmentation and the presence of spasm nodes are visible in the samples of the heart muscle. Moreover, numerous diffuse areas of interstitial and perivascular fibrosis and cardiomyocyte hypertrophy.
