Opis

This is the histopathological image of BRAIN tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: Male neonate. 8 days. TGA, VSD. After cardiosurgery.

Result of the histopathological examination: In the specimens of the brain tissue there are signs of significant hyperaemia of the choroid plexuses in the posterior corner of the lateral ventricle, along with local hemorrhages.
