Opis

This is the histopathological image of BREAST tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 10,0 x 7,5 cm palpable central well-circumscribed mass of breast. Suspicion of hamartoma.

Result of the histopathological examination: Hamartoma of breast. Tumor with thin fibrous capsule and composed of predominantly mature adipose tissue admixed with benign breast lobules.
