Opis

This is the histopathological image of BRONCHUS AND LUNG tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Acute passive hyperemia and foci of early bronchopneumonia with clusters of hemosiderophages and foam macrophages in alveoli are present in lung samples. Inter-alveolar septa are locally thickened with anthracosis. In addition, there are areas of atelectasis and compensatory emphysema.
