This is the histopathological image of CERVIX UTERI tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: The exocervix covered with paraepidermal epithelium with the features of segmental parakeratosis, without signs of dysplastic changes, with the presence of Naboth's cysts in the area of the external canal orifice. The mucosa of the endocervix focally with the features of squamous metaplasia, with the appearance of retention mucous cysts.
