Rheology of Variable Viscosity‐Based Mixed Convective Inclined Magnetized Cross Nanofluid with Varying Thermal Conductivity
PublikacjaCross nanofluid possesses an extraordinary quality among the various fluidic models to explore the key characteristics of flowing fluid during very low and very high shear rates and its viscosity models depend upon shear rate. The current study establishes the numerical treatment regarding variable viscosity‐based mixed convective inclined magnetized Cross nanofluid with var‐ ying thermal conductivities over the moving permeable...

A significance of multi slip condition for inclined MHD nano-fluid flow with non linear thermal radiations, Dufuor and Sorrot, and chemically reactive bio-convection effect
PublikacjaThe aim of this research is to discuss the significance of slip conditions for magnetized nanofluid flow with the impact of nonlinear thermal radiations, activation energy, inclined MHD, sorrot and dufour, and gyrotactic micro motile organisms over continuous stretching of a two-dimensional sheet. The governing equations emerge in the form of partial differential equations. Since the resultant governing differential equations...

Nonreciprocal Devices Utilizing Longitudinally Magnetized Ferrite Coupled Lines
PublikacjaThis chapter presents authors’ recent research on the nonreciprocal devices utilizing longitudinally magnetized ferrite coupled line (FCL) junction. The principle of operation of FCL junction is explained and the hybrid techniques of analysis are shown. Numerical and experimental results concerning the nonreciprocal devices utilizing the different configurations of FCL junctions are presented and discussed.

Experimental Study of Dapped-End Beams Subjected to Inclined Load
PublikacjaThis paper presents the results of an experimental investigation of the reinforced concrete (RC) dapped-end beams loaded with inclined forces, compared to identical ones loaded with vertical forces only. Such a load may occur in, for example, Gerber's joints or in dapped-end beams supported on corbels, where the vertical gravitation force is additionally completed with horizontal forces caused by temperature differences, shrinking,...

Experimental and Computational Analysis of the Ship Propeller in Open Water Conditions for Inclined Flow
PublikacjaThe paper presents the results of computational analyses simulating the open water tests of ship propeller in inclined flow. The results of computations are compared with the results of corresponding experimental analyses carried out in the towing tank of Ship Design and Research Centre (CTO S.A.). The object of the research was the model propeller identified as CP469. The aim of the study was to validate the results of numerical...

Robert Bogdanowicz dr hab. inż.
OsobyRobert Bogdanowicz received his Ph.D. degree with honours in Electronics from the Gdansk University of Technology. He worked as a post-doc researcher in Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald Institut für Physik. He has initiated optical emission imaging of muti-magnetron pulsed plasma and contributed to the development of antibacterial implant coatings deposited by high-power impulse magnetron sputtering. He moved back to...

Longitudinally magnetized left-handed cylindrical ferrite coupled line junction for nonreciprocal devices
PublikacjaThis paper presents investigations of longitudinally magnetized left-handed cylindrical ferrite coupled line junction for nonreciprocal devices. The proposed junction is formed as a quasi periodic arrangement of N unit cells. Each unit cell is realized as a cascade of short cylindrical ferrite coupled lines with reactance circuit composed of series capacitors and parallel inductors. The left-handed cylindrical junction with π/4...

Theoretical consideration of free convective heat transfer from a round isothermal plate slightly inclined from the vertical
PublikacjaA semi-analytical solution of simplified Navier-Stokes and Fourier-Kirchhoff equations describing free convective heat transfer from a round isothermal surface slightly inclined from the vertical is presented. The solution is based on the assumption, typical for natural convection, that the velocity component normal to the surface is negligibly small in comparison to the tangential one. Next we neglect the nonlinear inertia force...
