    - ENERGY - Rok 2023

The utilization of plastic solid wastes for sustainable energy production is a crucial aspect of the circular economy. This study focuses on pyrolysis as an effective method to convert this feedstock into renewable drop-in fuel. To achieve this, it is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of feedstock composition, pyrolysis process parameters, and the physicochemical characteristics of the resulting fuel, all correlated...

  • Particulate Material Analysis in Air

    Publikacja

    - Rok 2016

The chapter presents the methods and techniques used to asses the PM10 in air and different instruments typically used in analysis of PM, including sampling of particle by using filters and other systems. Besides the methods recommended by different national standards the other methods, especially electronic microscopy are also described.

    - ACS Omega - Rok 2020

In this study, we showed that doping bismuth (Bi) at the surface of Fe0 (Bi/Fe0, bimetallic iron system)—synthesized by a simple borohydride reduction method—can considerably accelerate the reductive degradation of chloramphenicol (CHP). At a reaction time of 12 min, 62, 68, 74, 95, and 82% degradation of CHP was achieved with Fe0, Bi/Fe0-1 [1% (w/w) of Bi], Bi/Fe0-3 [3% (w/w) of Bi], Bi/Fe0-5 [5% (w/w) of Bi], and Bi/Fe0-8 [8%...

  • Influence of meteorogical conditions om PM10 concentration in Gdańsk

The paper presents the investigation of influence of meteorological conditions on the concentration of PM!) in Gdańsk in 2011 year. on the examples of episodes og high concentrations in this year. The results have shown the most crucial factors for high episodes of PM10: anticyclone atmospheric circulation, stable atmosphere conditions, low wind velocity and the occurence of inversion layer.
