Computed vibrational excitation ofCF4by low-energy electrons and positrons: Comparing calculations and experiments
PublikacjaQuantum calculations for the excitation of the asymmetric modes of the CF4 target gas, ν3 and ν4, by impact of low-energy electrons and positrons are carried out in the energy range around 1 eV and are compared with recent experimental findings. The similarities and differences between the two types of projectiles, and the two different modes, are analyzed and discussed vis à vis the present accord with the experimental results.

Chemistry induced by low-energy electrons in condensed multilayers of pure small organic acids

Low energy elastic scattering of electrons from hexafluoropropene (C3F6)
PublikacjaWe present cross sections from a joint experimental and theoretical study on elastic electron scattering from hexafluoropropene (C3F6) in the gas phase. The experimental results, using low energy electron spectroscopy, were obtained at incident electron energies of 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15 and 20 eV, for scattering angles ranging from 10°to 130°. The theoretical method used in the computation of the integral, momentum...

Continuum orbitals in low energy scattering of electrons from Ar, Kr, Xe, Rn and Og atoms
Dane BadawczeThe dataset includes relativistic continuum electron wave functions (continuum orbitals, continuum spinors) for elastic scattering of electrons from Argon (Ar), Krypton (Kr), Xenon (Xe), Radon (Rn) and Oganesson (Og) atoms, calculated using the Multiconfiguration Dirac-Hartree-Fock method (MCDHF), at very low electron energies (0.0001 - 0.001 eV). Only...

Rotationally inelastic collisions of electrons with H2 and N2 molecules: converged space-frame calculations at low energies.
PublikacjaW pracy zostały obliczone przekroje czynne na rotacyjne wzbudzenia cząsteczek H2 i N2 w wyniku zderzeń z niskoenergetycznymi elektronami. Układ silnie sprzężonych równań został rozwiązany w laboratoryjnym układzie odniesienia przy pomocy algorytmu MVPA.

Low energy electron mass stopping power in H2
PublikacjaWe present experimental mass stopping powers of electrons in gaseous H2 obtained with a newly developed electron time-of-flight spectrometer, for the incident electron energy range of 10eV to 25eV. In our procedure the average energy loss is derived from our conversion of measured electron time-of-flight spectra into equivalent electron energy loss spectra so as to obtain the values of mass stopping power for electron scattering...
