  • Thin CVD diamond films - synthesis, properties, applications
    Publication

    - Year 2014

The basic model of diamond films growth, in the low pressure synthesis, deposition from the CVD gas phase, is the mixture of hydrocarbon gas in presence with activated hydrogen and its nucleation on the substrate as a result of pyrolysis reaction. It allows to cross the great energetic barrier between graphite and diamond. High pressure and temperature are replaced by change of electronic structure of atoms into gas precursors...

  • Thickness and structure change of titanium (IV) oxide thin films synthesized by the sol–gel spin coating method
    Publication

    - OPTICAL MATERIALS - Year 2014

Titanium dioxide is a well-known material in nanotechnology, while it provides new opportunities due to its interesting properties, for example, as a semiconductor with a quite significant forbidden band gap energy of 3.2 eV. In this study, thin films of titanium dioxide (TiO2) were synthesized in amorphous and crystallographic systems using the sol–gel process. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction...

  • System optoelektroniczny do kontroli procesów μPA CVD

Przedstawiono prototyp optoelektronicznego systemu do monitorowania in-situ procesu CVD, wspomaganych plazmą mikrofalową. System składa się z układu optycznej spektroskopii emisyjnej OES oraz specjalizowanego spektroskopu ramanowskiego RS. Umożliwia on równoczesne monitorowanie składu plazmy oraz określanie dynamiki wzrostu i zawartości defektów warstwy. Przedstawiono wyniki badań przebiegu procesu wytwarzania warstw diamentopodobnych...

  • Reactive deposition of TiNx layers in a DC-magnetron discharge
    Publication

    - SURFACE AND INTERFACE ANALYSIS - Year 2008

TiNx layers have been deposited in 'balanced mode' and 'unbalanced mode' of a reactive DC-magnetron plasma (carrier gas argon, reactive gas nitrogen) under different conditions. Discharge power and reactive gas flow have been varied. The layers have been examined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray reflectometry (XR), and spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE). The results of the layer analyses were combined with plasma investigations...

  • Surface-Plasmon-Coupled Emission of Rhodamine 110 in a Silica Nanolayer
    Publication

    - CHEMPHYSCHEM - Year 2011

The first observation of strong directional surface-plasmon-coupled emission (SPCE) of Rhodamine 110 in silica nanofilms deposited on silver nanolayers is reported. The preparation of the material is described in detail. The intensity of SPCE exceeds 10 times that of free space fluorescence and total linear light polarization in the SPCE ring is observed. A new experimental setup and an original data collection method is presented....

  • Surface Plasmon-Coupled Emission of Rhodamine 110 Aggregates in a Silica Nanolayer
    Publication

    - Year 2012

First analysis of strong directional surface plasmon-coupled emission(SPCE) of ground-state formed intermolecular aggregates of Rhodamine 110 (R110) insilica nanofilms deposited on silver nanolayers is reported. Until now, the processes ofenergy transport and its trapping due to aggregate formation have not been studied in the presence of SPCE. A new approach to multicomponent systems with weakly and strongly fluorescent centers...
