EDUCATIONAL ENGAGEMENT OF THE ELDERLY – THE EXPERIENCES OF THE SELECTED BALTIC SEA REGION (BSR) COUNTRIES
Abstract
The aim of this article is to present the engagement of the elderly being close to retirement age in the Baltic Sea Region countries in the education of the adults, as well as to discuss the possibilities and conditions for the educational activity of the elderly. The authors also refer to the relationship between the participation of the elderly in education and their socio-economic situation.
