MOOCs in SP4CE - case studies (Strategic Partnership for Creativity and Entrepreneurship)

Abstract

SP4CE stands for Strategic Partnership for Creativity and Entrepreneurship project which has been funded with support from the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ Programme in the period 1st September 2014 - 31st August 2017. The main purpose of SP4CE project is to design innovative e-learning tools for collaboration between students, enterprises and teachers. It concentrates on identifying users’ needs and supports the development of relations between them by mentoring and consulting activities [1]. WordPress and Moodle were chosen for the portal development [2], [3]. It supports communication among three main target groups: coaches, mentors (teachers) and students. The portal connects companies, universities (schools) and young people who want to enter the labour market. In order to ensure the project sustainability the project partners took part in Moodle MOOCs [4]. More over a dedicated SP4CE Learning Room in MoodleCloud [5] was established in order to support a co-operation with the EMMA MOOCs team provider [6].
