Pathogenesis of psoriasis in the “omic” era. Part II. Genetic, genomic and epigenetic changes in psoriasis
PublicationPsoriasis is a multifactorial disease in which genetic, environmental and epigenetic factors regulating gene expression play a key role. In the “genomic era”, genome-wide association studies together with target genotyping platforms performed in different ethnic populations have found more than 50 genetic susceptible markers associated with the risk of psoriasis which have been identified so far. Up till now, the strongest association...

Jednostrumieniowe orientowanie podłużne szprotów.
PublicationPraca porusza problem mechanizacji obróbki małych ryb. Przedstawiono założenia nowego sposobu orientowania podłużnego szprotów bałtyckich. Celem nowej metody jest uzyskiwanie z jednego strumienia ryb niezorientowanych jednego strumienia ryb ukierunkowanych głowami w jedną stronę. Jest to pierwszy etap badań zmierzających do budowy zautomatyzowanej linii do obróbki szprotów.

Long-term mortality after transcatheter aortic valve implantation for aortic stenosis in immunosuppression-treated patients: a propensity-matched multicentre retrospective registry-based analysis
PublicationIntroduction Data regarding patients with a previous medical record of immunosuppression treatment who have undergone transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) are limited and extremely inconclusive. Available studies are mostly short term observations; thus there is a lack of evidence on efficacy and safety of TAVI in this specific group of patients. Aim To compare the in-hospital and long-term outcomes between patients...

Mechanizmy segregacji materiałów ziarnistych
PublicationW przemyśle spożywczym często stosujemy materiały sypkie (ziarna zbóż, produkty ich przemiału, cukier, dodatki smakowe, granulaty itp.). Prowadzonym operacjom stale towarzyszy segregacja utrudniając właściwe przetwarzanie. Poznanie mechanizmów segregacji staje się koniecznością. Omówiono istotę segregacji i podstawowe jej mechanizmy.

Procesowi przetwarzania tych materiałów stale towarzyszy segregacja. Poznanie czynników wpływających na segregację umożliwia podjęcie działań minimalizujących jej skutki. W każdym rodzaju segregacji najefektywniejszą metodą minimalizowania segregacji jest ujednorodnienie materiału. Istnieją też metody...

Patomechanizm zakażeń dróg moczowych wywoływanych przez uropatogenne szczepy E. coli
PublicationZakażenia układu moczowego (ZUM) to jedne z najczęstszych i najbardziej powszechnych infekcji bakteryjnych, dotykających każdego roku nawet 150 milionów ludzi na świecie.

Funkcje tych cząsteczek w organizmie karmionego mlekiem matki...

Akrydyny jako związki aktywne przeciwnowotworowo = Acridines as antitumor drugs
PublicationAkrydyny należą do grupy policyklicznych związków heteroaromatycznych. Wykazują szeroki zakres aktywności biologicznej obejmujący aktywność przeciwpierwotniakową, przeciwbakteryjną,przeciwwirusową i przeciwnowotworową.

Systemy ekspresyjne białek cytochromu P450 w badaniach in vitro metabolizmu leków = Expression systems of cytochrome P450 proteins in studies of drug metabolism in vitro
