Application of fiber optic sensors using Machine Learning algorithms for temperature measurement of lithium-ion batteries
PublicationOptical fiber sensorsusing low-coherence interferometry require processing ofthe output spectrum or interferogramto quickly and accurately determine the instantaneous value of the measured quantity, such as temperature. Methods based on machine learning are a good candidate for this application. The application of four such methods in an optical fiber temperature sensoris demonstrated.Using aZnO-coated...

Improving the Quality of Magnetic Signature Reproduction by Increasing Flexibility of Multi-Dipole Model Structure and Enriching Measurement Information
PublicationThe paper presents the construction of a multi-dipole model that allows reproducing magneticsignatures of ferromagnetic objects. The virtual object used in the paper is an ellipsoid, which is the sourceof synthetic data. To make the situation more realistic, noise is added to the synthetic data. Two significantimprovements compared to previous work are presented. Three-axial magnetometers are introduced insteadof uniaxial magnetometers....

An approach to adaptive beamforming in measurement of EEG.Proceedings 2nd European Medical and Biological Engineering Conference.EMBEC´02.Pt.2
PublicationPotencjały wywołane są wykorzystywane w diagnostyce narządów zmysłu. Ze względu na niski SNR wymagana jest wielokrotne powtarzanie stymulacji i uśrednianie wyników. Prowadzi to do zwielokrotnienia czasu badania. SNR może zostać poprawiony przy użyciu matrycy sensorów. Są one wykorzystane do śledzenia źródeł sygnału. W publikacji przedstawiono dwie metody adaptacyjnego poprawania współczynnika SNR.
