Przedstawiono aspekty napędu strugowodnego z punktu widzenia jego zastosowania na statkach żeglugi śródlądowej, zarówno zalety jak i wady (ograniczenia). Oceniono możliwości takiego zastosowania napędu strugowodnego.

W artykule dokonano przeglądu i analizy wyposażenia kotwiczno-cumowniczego współczesnych statków śródlądowych. Przedstawiono także propozycję takiego wyposażenia dla segmentowego statku pasażerskiego wraz z doborem i rozmieszczeniem na pokładzie poszczególnych urządzeń.
