3. Project management: WBS, Gantt, Earned Value Method, critical path, risk management.

4. Economic Engineering: Establishing economic equivalence, Interest: cost of money, elements of transactions including interest, equivalence calculations, interest formulas, nominal and effective interest rates, loss of purchasing power.

5. Funds from Project Worth: describing the project's current cash flows, value analysis, annual rate equivalent method, payback analysis, accept/reject decision rules, mutually exclusive alternatives.

6. Funds and Flow in projections: operating profit - net profit tax treatment, effects of inflation.

7. Sensitivity and risk analysis: risks, risk analysis, expected value and project variance, decision principle.

8. Project Economics: investment costs versus operating costs, minimum cost function.
