Na wstępie zaprezentowano ogólne podejście do projektowania, wykonawstwa i utrzymania platform roboczych. W części głównej omówiono w sposób szczegółowy proponowany przez autorkę podział, ze zwróceniem uwagi na czynniki oddziałujące na poszczególny przypadek platformy roboczej.
