Estimation of cavitation erosion resistance of materials
PublicationW pracy przedstawiono ocenę odporności kawitacyjnej 17 materiałów. Do opisu odporności kawitacyjnej zaproponowano nowy wskaźnik liczbowy uwzględniający długość okresu inkubacji, maksymalną prędkość niszczenia oraz czas po którym wystąpi maksymalna prędkość niszczenia materiału. Zaproponowany wskaźnik porównano ze wskaźnikiem δcav, który reprezentuje całą krzywą erozji kawitacyjnej materiału.

Dokonano przeglądu wpływu impalntów metalicznych w ludzkim ciele. Przedstawiono bieżące procedury badania oraz ich wady. Zaproponowano procedurę oszacowania biomateriałów na implanty.

Environmental failure of dental biomaterials
PublicationW pracy przedstawiono problematykę związaną z zagadnieniem trwałości biomateriałów stomatologicznych. Scharakteryzowano kryteria doboru materiałów i na przykładzie koron stomatologicznych pokazano wyniki oceny prawidłowości doboru w oparciu o metodę elementów skończonych. Przedstawiono wyniki weryfikacji doświadczalnej i wskazano na możliwości wykorzystania tej metody do konstruowania odpornych na zniszczenie koron metalowo-ceramicznych.

PublicationW artykule opisano zjawisko korozji wysokotemperaturowej rur ekranowych kotłów parowych niskoemisyjnych. Przeprowadzono badania rur po eksploatacji. Wykonano badania składu chemicznego zgorzelin. Stwierdzono, że główną przyczyną pocienienia rur na wyższych poziomach jest korozja siarkowa, natomiast na poziomach niższych oddziaływanie stopionych soli.

PublicationW pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań podatności stali spawalnych o wysokiej wytrzymałości na niszczenie wodorowe. Badano dwa gatunki stali S690Q i ich złącza spawane. Ocenę podatności na niszczenie wodorowe wykonano w oparciu o próbę rozciągania z małą prędkością odkształcania w powietrzu i środowisku wody morskiej przy polaryzacji katodowej. Przedstawiono model niszczenia wodorowego badanych stali i ich złączy spawanych.

Hydrogen permeation through welded joints of S690QL steels at cathodic polarisation in sea water in the presence of SRB
PublicationPrezentowane są wyniki badan metodą Devanathana- Stachurskyego przenikania wodoru w wodzie morskiej w obecności bakterii redukujących siarczany i w warunkach sterylnych. Badania wykonano na stali S690QL poddanej symulowanym obróbkom cieplnym prowadzącym do struktur modelujących strefy wpływu ciepła. Stwierdzono dodatni wpływ obecności bakterii na przenikanie wodoru. Różnice między poszczególnymi próbkami były minimalne.
