Abstract
Education technologies are on the cusp, emerging technologies connected with each other might reveal new added value in this field. In this paper, the author showed a framework for conducting civil engineering classes with a virtual presence on the construction site. The presented idea might be realized by use of the unnamed aerial vehicle equipped with 360 video camera. On-site activities are transmitted at a distance by GSM and streamed in real time to the personal computers of students. Contemporary research suggests that embodying the avatar (in this case unnamed aerial vehicle) expands the perspective and gives valuable experience, increasing the ability to acquire knowledge. This technology allows participating in classes by disabled students, people living in remote areas. Moreover, it might be available to reach places which are far away from the place of the class venue and offers to learn about the experience of construction engineers from around the world. Future possibilities of virtual presence framework development have been discussed.
