Abstract
GLOBAL PROFILING ANALYSIS OF HUMAN BREAST MILK (HBM) LIPIDS IS HINDERED BY COMPLEX COMPOSITION OF HBM. THIS PROBLEM IS HUGE FROM ANALYTICAL POINT OF VIEW, SINCE DUE TO THAT DETECTION OF ALL HBM LIPIDS DURING ONE ANALYTICAL RUN IS LIMITED. THUS, SAMPLE PREPARATION STEP CONSTITUTES A CRUCIAL STEP IN UNTARGETED LIPIDOMIC ANALYSIS OF HBM, ESPECIALLY WHEN SEMI-QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS IS ASSUMED. HEREIN, WE PRESENT A COMPARISON OF PUBLISHED AND PROPOSED BY US SAMPLE PREPARATION PROCEDURES USED IN LIPIDOMIC STUDY OF HBM, INCLUDING INDICATION OF ADVANTAGES, DRAWBACKS AND POSSIBLE APPLICATION.
