A novel chemiluminescent immunoassay for detection of Toxoplasma gondii IgG in human sera
PublicationThis study describes Toxoplasma gondii IgG chemiluminescent immunoassay (CLIA) based on the use of a novel immunochemical reagents in the form of the conjugates of original acridinium ester (AE) labels attached to antibodies and SAG2-GRA1-ROP1L chimeric antigen and shows that this test is useful for diagnostic purposes.

Electrical mapping of AISI 304 stainless steel subjected to intergranular corrosion performed by means of AFM-LIS in the contact mode
PublicationThe paper presents results of the AFM-based approach to local impedance spectroscopy (LIS) measurements performed in a 20 20 lm grid within an austenite grain–grain boundary region for sensitized AISI 304 stainless steel (SS). Maps of electrical parameters obtained on the basis of localized impedance spectra were demonstrated, presenting their changes and correlation with the sample topography. Performed research revealed significant...

Mapping of Flood-Prone Areas Utilizing GIS Techniques and Remote Sensing: A Case Study of Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq
PublicationOne of the most common types of natural disaster, floods can happen anywhere on Earth, except in the polar regions. The severity of the damage caused by flooding can be reduced by putting proper management and protocols into place. Using remote sensing and a geospatial methodology, this study attempts to identify flood-vulnerable areas of the central district of Duhok, Iraq. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique was...

Identification and properties of the Deinococcus grandis andDeinococcus proteolyticus single-stranded DNA binding proteins (SSB)
PublicationW celu poznania właściwości biochemicznych białek SSB pochodzących z Deinococcus grandis (DgrSSB) i Deinococcus proteolyticus (DprSSB) sklonowano zaamplifikowane w reakcji PCR geny ssb w systemie ekspresyjnym Escherichia coli. Sekwencja...

Bacterial SSB-like proteins of family Deinococcaceae - indentification, isolation, obtaining, purification and molecular characteristic
PublicationWiększość poznanych białek SSB jest aktywna w formie homotetramerycznej. Od 2002 roku znane są białka organizmów ekstremofilnych. Scharakteryzowano białka mikroorganizmów rodziny Deinococaceae. Uzyskane termostabilne białka stanowią atrakcyjną alternatywę w stosunku do znanych białek SSB w metodach diagnostyki molekularnej, technikach biologii molekularnej i analityce.
