The study on possibilities of recovery non-magnetic fraction by utilisation the magnetic separation technology in conditions of KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. division of concentrators = Próby odzysku frakcji niemagnetycznej metodą separacji magnetycznej w warunkach KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Oddział Zakłady Wzbogacania Rud
PublikacjaW referacie przybliżono wyniki badań prowadzonych w kierunku określenia możliwości odzysku frakcji niemagnetycznej i słabomagnetycznej ze strumieni materiałowych O/ZWR, poprzez wykorzystanie metody separacji magnetycznej.

Exploring COVID-19 Conspiracy Theories: Education, Religiosity, Trust in Scientists, and Political Orientation in 26 European countries
PublikacjaThe COVID-19 virus disseminated globally at an accelerated pace, culminating in a worldwide pandemic; it engendered a proliferation of spurious information and a plethora of misinformation and conspiracy theories (CTs). While many factors contributing to the propensity for embracing conspiracy ideation have been delineated, the foremost determinant influencing individuals’ proclivity towards CT endorsement appears to be their...

Preferences and Transport Behavior of Gdansk Residents in the Light of the Result of Complex Traffic Survey
PublikacjaPreferences and transport behavior of the population are a fundamental aspect of research in public transport. Identifying the basic postulates of transport, the factors determining the specific behavior of transport and modal split allow to analyze the differences between the groups singled passengers and to prepare better offer of an urban transport. In Poland, still in many cities urban transport research is conducted ad hoc,...

Weldability of S460ML High Strength Low Alloy Steel in Underwater Conditions
PublikacjaThe paper presents experimental evaluation of susceptibility of the high strength S460ML steel to cold cracking in the conditions of wet welding with the use of covered electrodes. From the results of Tekken tests it was found out that the investigated steel was characterised, in the conditions of the carried out experiments (underwater wet welding and air welding with rutile electrodes), of high susceptibility to cold cracking....

Multiple access in ad-hoc wireless LANs with noncooperative stations
PublikacjaA class of contention-type MAC protocols (e.g., CSMA/CA) relies on random deferment of packet transmission, and subsumes a deferment selection strategy and a scheduling policy that determines the winner of each contention cycle. This paper examines contention-type protocols in a noncooperative an ad-hoc wireless LAN setting, where a number of stations self-optimise their strategies to obtain a more-than-fair bandwidth share. Two...

THE EFFECT OF WET UNDERWATER WELDING ON COLD CRACKING SUSCEPTIBILITY OF DUPLEX STAINLESS STEEL
PublikacjaABSTRACT The present work was conducted to assess the weldability of duplex stainless steel in underwater conditions. Metal manual arc welding (MMA) with the use of coated electrodes was used in the investigations. Tekken weldability tests were performed underwater at 0.5 m depth and in the air. Nondestructive tests, metallographic examinations of welds, ferrite content assessment in microstructure and hardness test were performed....
