    The dataset contains the scanning electron micrographs (SEM) and Raman  spectra of B:CNWs and BDD samples deposited by MW-PECVD. SEM was used to characterise the morphology of BDD and B:CNW. In contrast, RAMAN was used to reveal the main differences in the crystalline structure of BDD and B:CNWs.
