Jest to zminiaturyzowana antena monopolowa planarna, której obwód zaprojektowano wykorzystując czwartego rzędu iterację trójkąta Sierpińskiego ze współczynnikiem skali d=1.5. Antenę wykonano na podłożu dielektrycznym i zasilono wykorzystując falowód koplanarny. Badania parametrów wykonanego modelu potwierdziły wielozakresową pracę struktury.

Chemical composition of shells from red (Strongylocentrotus franciscanum) and green (Strongylocentrotus droeba-chiensis) sea urchin
PublicationThe shells from red and green sea urchins accounted for 47.9 and 40.7% of their body weights, respectively. The red and green sea urchin shells contained 91.08 and 90.77% minerals and 4.06 and 4.99% proteins, respectively. The shells did not contain any chitin. N-Alkyl Derivatives of L-Glutamine As Inhibitors of Glutamine - Utilizing Enzymes
PublicationA general facile method to synthesize the N-gamma-alkyl and N-gamma,N-gamma-dialkyl derivatives of L-glutamine (1a-d) from L-glutamic acid as a starting substrate is presented. The obtained compounds are shown to inhibit three diferent glutamine-utilizing enzymes, namely: glutaminase, gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase, and glucosamine-6-phosphate synthase, with inhibitory constants within the milimolar range.

Flue gas treatment for SO2 removal with air-sparged hydrocyclone technology
PublicationWyniki badań dowodzą, że reaktor cyklonowy jest wysokosprawnym absorberem. Absorber cyklonowy pozwala na osiągnięcie stopnia redukcji 97% dla samej wody i zawartości dwutlenku siarki w fazie gazowej 5 mg/dm3. Dwutlenek siarki był usuwany również w wodnym rozworze alkaicznym (0.01 mol NaOH/dm3).

PublicationOpisano wstępne wyniki badań laboratoryjnych usuwania SO2 z mieszaniny gazów z zastosowaniem reaktora cyklonowego (ASH). Do absorpcji stosowano wodę wodociągową oraz roztwór alkaliów. Zbadano wpływ natężenia przepływu gazu, natężenia przepływu wody oraz długość elementów ASH. Stwierdzono, że efektywność absorpcji SO2 z powietrza stosując technologię ASH jest porównywalna z efektywnością metod konwencjonalnych.
