Takim nowym elementem jest stalowy, spawany laserowo panel typu sandwich. W pracy pokazano wy-brane problemy towarzyszące modelowaniu zachowań takiej struktury. Pokazano podstawy teoretyczne wyznaczania sztyw-ności panelu a następnie omówiono wyniki badań wyboczenio-wych serii modeli o zmiennej geometrii.
