Analytical method of modelling the geometric system of communication route
PublikacjaThe paper presents a new analytical approach to modelling the curvature of a communication route by making use of differential equations. The method makes it possible to identify both linear and nonlinear curvature. It enables us to join curves of the same or opposite signs of curvature. Solutions of problems for linear change of curvature and selected variants of nonlinear curvature in polynomial and trigonometric form were analyzed....

Analytical Modelling of the Multicell Piezoelectric Motor Based on Three Resonance Actuators
PublikacjaThis paper presents analytical model of the multicell piezoelectric motor. The results, obtained in the field of piezoelectric motors, have pointed out that these motors have potentially high possibilities in the future of special applications. The studied multicell piezoelectric motor have a stator using three rotating mode actuators. A theoretical analysis of operating principle of the rotating mode motor has been described....

Modelling of saturated, subcooled and post-dryout flow boiling with the energy dissipation based semi-empirical model
PublikacjaA comprehensive semi-empirical model for saturated, subcooled and post dryout heat transfer is presented based on considerations of energy dissipation in the flow. The fundamental hypothesis in the model is the fact that heat transfer during flow boiling can be treated as a sum of two contributions constituting the total energy dissipation in the flow, namely the energy dissipation due to the shearing flow without the bubbles and...

Physical aspect of application and usefulness of semi-Markovian processes for modelling the processes occurring in operational phase of technical objects.
PublikacjaW artykule zasygnalizowano przydatność teorii procesów semimarkowskich do tworzenia modeli procesów rzeczywistych, zachodzących w fazie eksploatacji różnych obiektów technicznych.

On a 3D material modelling of smart nanocomposite structures
PublikacjaSmart composites (SCs) are utilized in electro-mechanical systems such as actuators and energy harvesters. Typically, thin-walled components such as beams, plates, and shells are employed as structural elements to achieve the mechanical behavior desired in these composites. SCs exhibit various advanced properties, ranging from lower order phenomena like piezoelectricity and piezomagneticity, to higher order effects including flexoelectricity...
